When someone is incarcerated, life as they know it changes. Many times, those incarcerated have fallen because of their circumstances. Their surroundings or the people that they keep company with may have an influence over the actions that caused them to become incarcerated. For some, being incarcerated becomes a chance to start over. It’s a chance to get it right the next time, but if they come home and are faced with the same situations and circumstances, they run the risk of becoming a repeat offender ending up back in jail or prison once again.
The Station of Hope Certification program is open for enrollment for churches/and or organizations to learn to help this population of individuals create a better life for themselves, their families and become community partners when they return home.
